M&A Junior Manager
Location: Warsaw, Poland
The essential part of the role is gathering market insight, structuring new business transactions, networking with current and potential business partners as well as working closely with R.Power business leaders and team members.
Dealing with international M&A and direct reporting to R.Power Board will be the vital parts of the duties.
M&A Junior Manager will lead on a daily basis the entire M&A transaction cycle aiming in purchasing ownership rights to PV projects in Poland or other countries including:
carrying on business origination: relationship building with PV developers, identifying and pitching companies or projects that might be viable business targets, presenting findings to the management team;
managing due diligence process (technical, legal and financial) handled by internal departments or external advisors;
conducing financial modelling to support the assessment of M&A opportunities;
negotiating purchase prices and other SPA terms;
executing SPA signing and closing;
driving fulfilment of pre-closing and post-closing conditions;
assisting with on-going integration – involving other R.Power departments to ensure at each stage of the transaction that all technical, regulatory, legal and financial aspects have been considered and projects have been fully integrated into company’s structure and projects portfolio.
strong competencies in deal making, due diligence and post-merger integration supported by working experience at top tier M&A houses;
successful track record at managing project and business development, preferably at energy/renewables/PV and/ or international environment;
outstanding interpersonal, communication and influencing skills and the confidence to both liaise with entrepreneurs selling PV projects and collaborate across R.Power team;
ability to quickly understand the business, its key drivers and issues;
comfortable with conducting both primary (interviews, surveys) and secondary (desk-based) market research;
excellent analytical skills, can identify the key issues and present them in a concise and clear manner to non-subject matter experts;
independent ownership of projects and deliverables as well as multi-tusking and working under time-pressure are pre-requisite;
hands-on and implementation oriented: recommendations grounded in reality, willing to roll-up-sleeves and get hands dirty as required.
