Revenue Manager in the Investment Office
Location: WARSAW
Responsibilities
Market analytics – deep insight into the dynamics of power trading and ancillary services markets in Poland and Europe
Development of internal tools allowing to monitor power and BESS markets on a daily basis
Build R.Power’s bespoke scenarios for power curves and BESS revenues
Maintain the relationship with power curve providers, consulting companies, optimisers and software providers offering trading and optimisation tools for renewables and BESS assets
Development of internal BESS revenues forecasting and optimisation methodology, as well as building out the internal BESS market knowledge (for standalone & co-located assets).
Support PPA team in the BESS offtake negotiations, in particular implementation of the offtake shadowing mechanisms
Support PPA team in preparing the PV and wind assets for offering ancillary services
Support Investment Office and PPA teams in the CFD and Capacity Market auctions participation
Work closely with BESS, Construction and Procurement teams on the optimal revenue solutions for our assets
Support investment decisions and produce internal reports/presentations for the Senior Management
Support project finance transactions as well as equity financing teams
Support Head of Investment Office and other team members in various internal processes
Ability to work in a fast-pace environment with key decision makers
Requirements
At least 5 years of experience in power trading/revenue optimisation, ideally in the renewable energy sector (solar, wind, BESS etc.)
Experience in modelling revenue streams for BESS assets (standalone, co-located)
Experience in optimisation of the dispatch of the BESS assets and building tools optimising the dispatch
Understanding of power trading and ancillary services markets in Poland and Europe
Basic financial modelling skills, with grounding in other quantitative tools and market research
Good knowledge of MS Excel, Solver, VBA.
